An Introduction to Turinabol – What you Need to Know
Turinabol is an anabolic androgenic steroid that was first developed by JenaPharm, a pharmaceutical company that was based in East Germany. Turinabol is also commonly referred to as Tbol. The work on this steroid started back in the 60s and the first patent on the steroid was issued in 1961.
The steroid was then introduced for clinical use in 1965. Turinabol is a modified version of Dianabol and is known by the chemical name Chlorodehydromethyltestosterone. Turinabol is a product designed to provide the benefits of both natural androgens such as testosterone and synthetic ones that have the same effects as the natural ones.
How does it work?
Turinabol is used therapeutically today as a solution to induce increased muscle growth. The steroid can significantly increase protein levels within the cells especially those that are found in the skeletal muscle. Although in most cases the Turinabol action and of other AASs has been confused with that of peptide hormones, they are very different. Unlike the peptide hormones, Turinabol has the ability to penetrate through the fatty membrane of each cell for direct action on the cell’s nucleus.
Once the AAS penetrates the cell membrane, it will bind to an androgen receptor. The Androgen receptor, also known as AR, is located in the cytoplasm of each cell. After Turinabol binds with the AR, the compound that is now formed will penetrate the cell nucleus and alter the expression of the genes.
The effect of this process on muscle mass can be seen in two ways. To start with, the process will trigger the synthesis of more proteins within the cells. Secondly, Turinabol will block the action of Cortisol, a stress hormone that induces the feeling of being tired. This will make recovery time after every work out short and muscle development quicker.
Anabolic Rating Score
Turinabol has an anabolic rating of 54. The androgenic rating stands at 6 which is very low. This reduces side effects significantly. As for the anabolic rating of 54, it’s not very high for mass gaining, especially when compared to steroids like Dianabol. But the mass gained from this steroid is dry and good quality muscle due to no water retention effects.
Is it for Beginners or Advanced Users?
Although Turinabol is one of the most effective Androgenic anabolic steroids, it can be used by both professional athletes who are looking to build strength and endurance as well as the regular Joe who simply wants to build quality, lean muscle.
Therefor Turinabol can be used by both advanced and beginner users. The difference is only in the dosage size. Beginner users should start with a smaller dose while advanced users can start with a bigger one.
Typical Turinabol Dosage
The dosage for Turinabol users will depend on whether you are new to steroids or whether you have used for some time. For people who are just getting introduced to the steroid, a dosage of between 30 mg and 40 mg per day is recommended. AAS for an intermediate user who has already been introduced to the steroid and used for a small period of time, the recommended dosage will be between 50 mg and 80 mg per day.
As for the advanced bodybuilder who is looking for quick and effective results, you will need a dosage of between 80 mg and 100 mg per day. It is, however, possible to use above 100 mg per day but side effects will be more predominant with results changing very little.
The aim of using Turinabol is to increase the development of long-lasting and high-quality muscle mass. It’s not a quick fix. If you are using the steroid, you must be ready to be patient as the gains are slow and steady. Quality muscle mass and great strength gains can be expected if used alongside a solid diet and workout routine.
Possible Tbol Side Effects
The possible side effects of Turinabol may increase with the dosage used. For example, a higher dosage may lead to androgenic side effects including acne, roid rage, and aggression. Turinabol may also alter the production of testosterone in the body. However, although anabolic steroids will cause this, the effects of Turinabol are considered mild.
Will it Cause Water Retention?
Due to having a low androgenic rating that stands at 6, the risk of water retention isn’t a concern.
Is it Harsh on the Liver?
This will depend on the dosage. It’s important to note that Turinabol is a C17-alpha alkylated oral anabolic steroid and its use will lead to an increase in AST and ALT liver value levels.
But it all depends on the dosage. Clinical studies done on East German Athletes in the 90s showed that a small dosage of between 15 mg and 35 mg did not alter the AST and ALT levels. However, for a beginner dosage of between 35 mg and 40 mg, there may be some effects on the liver.
How Harsh Can it be to my Hair if I am Predisposed to Hair Loss?
It is very unlikely that Turinabol will cause hair loss or baldness. In that case, it’s a good steroid to use even for people with predisposed hair loss.
What Steroids Stack Well with Turinabol?
Stacking Turinabol can help increase results. You can first of all stack it with testosterone. The rule of thumb is to pair the steroid with an injectable steroid. Do not stack it with another oral steroid due to the risk of liver damage. Some great stacking options include Deca Durabolin and Trenbolone Acetate.
How Should Turinabol be Administered?
Turinabol is best administered orally using water or juice. Although it can be found in rare injectable form, it’s always recommended that you take it orally.
Tbol PCT Advice
PCT will be vital if indeed you want to see the best results with Tbol. The best option in PCT will be Nolvadex. Start off with 40 mg for the first 7 days and then reduce it to 20 mg in the next 7 days.
What is it Suited For?
Turinabol is largely used for cutting. Due to its limited anabolic effects, it’s rarely used in bulking or mass muscle gain. With that being said this steroid will produce lots of muscle for a first time user on a bulk. Its just that other steroids produce better bulking results.
Turinabol Half-Life Information
Turinabol has a relatively long half-life at 16 hours. It’s best to split your daily allowance in two separate dosages.
Can Women use Turinabol?
Turinabol has very low androgenic activity and as such, women can use the steroid without a high risk of virilization. Woman need to understand that they should never take the recommended dosages for men no matter how low the androgenic rating.
Will It Increase My Aggression?
Yes, Turinabol can increase aggression especially if it’s used at a higher dosage. This is user dependent as everyone reacts differently. Someone who already suffers from anger issues will most likely see an increase whilst taking steroids.
Laws in the UK
Tbol is class C drug in the UK. UK law states that it is ok to use anabolic steroids for personal use but it is illegal to manufacture and supply others.
